My 5 Summer Beauty Crushes Under $15

All 5 of my current summer crushes are priced below $15!!

Read why and how I use them below.

FACIAL SPRAY WITH ALOE, HERBS & ROSEWATER

by MARIO BADESCU for $7 (4 oz)

This spray is good to use for hydrating your skin with a light, breathable finish. The Aloe is amazing for your skin to keep it moisturized especially this time of year! 🥵

Tip: With the bottle about 9-12 inches away, mist onto face and/or neck. I like to use post-makeup application because it gives my face that glowy, summer look!

SRSLY SATIN LIPSTICK in NECTAR

by e.l.f. Cosmetics for $3

$3!!!!!! Like can you even beat $3 lipstick?? I absolutely love the subtly of their Nectar shade. On me it has an Orange finish so it’s currently my favorite summer nude. What I really like about this is the satin finish. Typically matte finishes are my go-to but the satin is light and moisturizing for my lips.

Tip: Buy the lipstick and ditch your primer or chapstick because you won’t need it this time!

AFTER SUN ALOE & COCONUT RECOVERY LOTION

by Ulta for $6.99

This recovery lotion grabbed my attention because of the Aloe and Coconut!! These 2 are literally my favorite natural ingredients to use in hydrating and healing my skin. When I saw the recovery lotion it was a no brainer. Quarantine has made me love being outside a lot more and with that comes a lot more sun exposure. I rub on my arms, chest and neck after being outside. On Saturdays when I run errands, I squeeze a dime size into my hands and rub evenly on my face.

Tip: Don’t go crazy lathering this lotion on because of the thick consistency. A little will go a long way. Of the utmost importance, you cannot eat it even though it smells super yummy!!

TEXTURIZING HAIRSPRAY

by OUAI HAIRCARE for $12 (Travel Size)

I first bought this texturizing spray back in March before my trip to Vegas. But I find myself using it a lot more lately. In the summer time my hair becomes really flat and lifeless in comparison to other seasons. The texturizing spray is perfect for giving my hair workable body without the stiff hold. Unlike some texturizing hairsprays I’ve used, Ouai’s does not leave a white, grayish film on my hair nor is my scalp itchy.

Tip: After I have styled my hair how I want – straight or beach waves – I flip my hair to the opposite side and spray the roots. As I spray, I also fluff my hair to give it more body. I flip it back and lightly spray the crown of my head repeating a similar fluffing method from the root. It smells freaking GOOD!! The standard 4.6 oz bottle is $26.

NAIL POLISH in SOUQ UP THE SUN

by ESSIE for $9

If you’re anything like me, manis and pedis are still happening at home. Essie is always one of my favorite nail polish brands because their quality is top notch and shades are so vibrant! I’ve been using Essie for almost 10 years now thanks to my older sister. This shade screams summer AND it’s my favorite color.

Tip: I recommend using 2 coats to achieve the salon look at home. When you’re not using it, store your bottle in the refrigerator to preserve the polish.
